A Note from the Church Office

Just a couple things to point out… I am in the office Mondays thru Thursdays (and usually on Friday mornings.) If you need anything, you only need call or stop by. If you stop by, please be sure to wear your mask when you come in the building.  If you haven’t already downloaded the Instant Church Directory app, please do so. Weekly Minute with Pastor Susan

Dear ones, This fight against Covid has gotten really personal for me. My brother, John Thisell, lost his life to complications of this disease on Sunday (the day before his 63rd birthday), after 4 weeks in ICU, three of which he was on a ventilator. A Note From the Church Office...

This has been a tough week for me. I don’t like the uncertainty, I don’t like not being able to see and be with the people I love, and I just want this “thing” to end.  I feel certain that many of you share these same sentiments.  What I do know is that a tiny act of kindness goes an extra long way these days. Both for the giver and for the receiver. So, if nothing else – give someone an ounce of kindness today. Tell those who are dear that you......

Weekly Minute with Pastor Susan

Dear ones, I pray that you are all staying well and avoiding high risk places and activities as we move into our fifth month of this new, crazy life I’ve begun calling “Covid-Chaos 2020.” For many (if not most) of us this has added a layer of stress to our already complex lives. We know that intermittent stress can be good for us (that’s another article) but when it becomes chronic it can affect all aspects of our health. So please remember to do the things that keep you grounded in life......
