We know that intermittent stress can be good for us (that’s another article) but when it becomes chronic it can affect all aspects of our health. So please remember to do the things that keep you grounded in life......

A Note from the Church Office

There are so many in need and so much information about what is happening around Covid-19 out there these days that it’s hard to keep up with it all. And it’s even more difficult for us to disseminate information that comes to us but which may have particular interest to you individually.  So why not sign up to receive at least two informative newsletters yourselves? Compassion Coalition’s Monday afternoon Bulletin Board provides up-to-date information on individuals and agencies needing assistance, volunteers, food pantries that are available, and many other tidbits of local news......

Weekly Minute From Pastor Susan

Thanks to all who made possible the commemoration of the Emanuel Nine and lament for the lives lost to the sins of racism and white supremacy. Special thanks to our guest soloist Janine Fuller, who moved us greatly with her music and her willingness to be present. Despite our technical problems that delayed the start of the service and the unusual length due to the extra litanies, many of you stuck with us. I hope it was a meaningful time for each of you. The service was recorded and is available on......

Messiah Enters the Digital Media Age

Submitted by Laura Nutzell, Social Media Coordinator Years ago when I was kid, I remember getting the mail for Mom. Once a month I’d see the brightly colored pages of the “Messiah Messenger” in the mailbox. Mom would read the entire newsletter, and put the calendar page on the fridge. But with time and technology, we moved to email, and used the print version less. (But until the day the she passed away, Mom always put the Messenger calendar page on the fridge. ❤️) When we are ready to call a new......
