Focusing on Hope: A Six-Whope in red typeeek Bereavement Workshop

During this six-week workshop, through education and support, we will honor our individual grieving process as we learn to focus on hope while living with our loss. The definition of “loss” includes, a loss of a loved one, loss of a long-established situation, a relationship, a life-style change resulting in loss. This work shop is free of charge, open to all adults who are coping with loss.

The Workshop will held on your choice of Mondays and Saturdays at Messiah Lutheran Church. Mondays Sept. 10 through October 15, 2018 10:00 until 11:30 am Saturdays Sept. 15 through October 20, 2018 10:00 until 11:30 am.

Space is limited so register early by calling Mary Sophia in the church office – 865.599.9753, ext. 10. Facilitator for the workshop is Jane Mason, member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Jane and her husband relocated to Caryville, TN in 2017 from the Poconos in PA upon their retirement. Jane, a Deacon in the Evangelical Church in America, served her call as a hospice chaplain. Jane also facilitated grief support groups during her years as a chaplain. Jane currently enjoys lake life on Norris Lake and volunteering for hospice.
